This documentary book is a kaleidoscope of the two weeks of June
1940, which turns us wildly into the realities of Lithuania and
daily life of its people at that time.
Sadly, in 1940 on June 15, the Soviet Union occupied the Republic of
Lithuania. The 50-year occupation of Lithuania began.
The book is designed in duocolor – black and green. Green is chosen
because it best represents the time of summer and has a fresh,
positive vibe.
Each chapter of the book mimics in detail the design of a wall
calendar of those times.
It contains sunset and sunrise time prediction, a weather forecast,
a monthly calendar view and some sayings based on superstitions of
those times, or short jokes.
