1940. The last Lithuanian summer

This documentary book is a kaleidoscope of the two weeks of June 1940, which turns us wildly into the realities of Lithuania and daily life of its people at that time.
Sadly, in 1940 on June 15, the Soviet Union occupied the Republic of Lithuania. The 50-year occupation of Lithuania began.

Book stack

The book is designed in duocolor – black and green. Green is chosen because it best represents the time of summer and has a fresh, positive vibe.

Each chapter of the book mimics in detail the design of a wall calendar of those times.
It contains sunset and sunrise time prediction, a weather forecast, a monthly calendar view and some sayings based on superstitions of those times, or short jokes.
